Do they have to explain why your mad, even when you are mad? this is the question! well, that's moogtron;s reversed take on the floyd's statement, by the old guy that roger waters asked to lay down for "dark side of the moon" (or was that "dark side of the loon"?) . there's plenty of psychedelic lunacy included on these 2 epics for sure, with part 1 getting straight into the thick of it a few mins in, with analogue synths screaming and crying out for mercy from Dr. darkside. part 2 includes 3 sequenced sections, which are literaly based on the track "on the run" (dark side of the moon) and we've even included some human voices laughing ecstaticaly into a world of madness! ......here's hoping you enjoy this crazy trip through sonic timbres of madness! recorded live, in august 2022 at magic roundabout studio (mike "mooogtron" hewetson -sept 2022)

La luna was established in 2004, when mike hewetson began recording sessions with paul owen at slepe farm in the purbecks. all improvised music , based on JMJ/VANGELIS/ENO/TOMITA/THE ORB., but by 2010, mike was composing alot more. la luna have played live alot since 2010 to 2019. the mellotron is featured heavily along with many analogue synths and sound fx. 100's of discs have been recorded . ... more
